Medicine Use Review (MUR'S)

• Do you take more than one prescribed medicine? 
• Do you know why you are taking each medicine?
• Do you wish you could talk to someone about your medicines?
• Do you have concerns with your mediines?
• Is safe for me to take 'over the counter' medicines with my prescription?

If the answer is YES to any of these questions then you may benefit from having a Medicines Usage Review with the Pharmacist.

The MUR consists of a private 15 minute consultation with the pharmacist in which time you can discuss all your medicines, both precribed and purchased. you can discuss what they are for, how you should take them, what are the side effects (if any), and any other isues you may have.

The idea is for you to understand your drug therapy more and to identify any problems you may be experiencing along with possible solutions.

This will equip you to manage your condition with more confidence.

A report of the review will be provided to the patient and to their GP.
